High-End Cosmetics on a Low-End Budget
Hello Lovelies! I am so amped about today’s tidbit. Tidbit?
Is that what we’re calling it? That seems small…Well it will have to do until
my brain starts to function properly again. (Good luck with that). Anyway today
we have a guest narrator to recap last week’s events. I am stoked to introduce
you guys and gals to Marsha ==>
1)
Only shop sale items unless the products are
already reasonably priced.
2)
Just because it’s high-end doesn’t make it a
better product.
3)
You can’t have a “quality” makeup collection
without a variety of products.
4)
A lot of “drugstore products” don’t make a
collection, they make a lot of drugstore products.
5)
Check out what others are saying about a product
BEFORE you buy it (especially high-end products).
6)
Compare products through reviews (Are you paying
for a name or the quality of the product.
7)
Beware of Scams and counterfeit products (Think
Ebay and Amazon).
8)
Always check for free shipping and handling
(many times you can add several more items and get shipping free, instead of
wasting that money on s&h charges. Also look for FREE S&H).
9)
Don’t pay the same price for drugstore brands
that you could’ve gotten higher end brands for.
10) RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH. Just because it’s
on the brand’s site for full price doesn’t mean you can’t find it at an
authentic retailer for a discounted price.
11) If a brand doesn’t offer any “Sales/Clearance”
items, don’t spend a lot of time on them because it truly is a buyer’s market
and someone else is selling the same or better product elsewhere.
