The Lost Glam Files
Hello My Dear Darling Lovelies! Yasssssss! I am back with
the list that is going to change your lives (if not your lives, then at least
your faces, which could lead to a life change…). I know it’s hard for you to
sit there so calmly while I waste away your time with my meaningless words but
I have a page to fill up here! Sheesh! It’s called a blog you guys, not “say
one word and be done.” Anywho now that my daily rant has been fulfilled, I have
exciting news! Today, this very minute, this very second, I have in my phone
(buried under all the useless apps and games that I can’t beat) a list (My
Precious) of places where we can all finally go to get our makeup fix! *The
crowd goes wild! Absolutely Wild!* So this list is comprised of places/sites
you can go to get great deals on makeup/cosmetics. Some of the products on here
are high-end but keep in mind, when building a makeup collection, you must have
a variety. Just because some of these products are high-end, doesn’t mean that
they have to be out of reach. I did try to only suggest sites that at least
offer quality, basic products (lipsticks, lip pencils etc.) under $20. Due to the list being quite long, I have
decided to break it up into parts, so it would be easier to navigate and
checkout each site thoroughly. I will come back next week with the remaining
list. Happy Shopping Lovelies!
Now this is a great site! Most things are at least 50% off
and much more. The thing with HauteLook is you have windows in which you can
get said merchandise and then it moves on to another sale. They also have a
wide variety of goods, so you don’t have to limit yourself to just cosmetics.
As a blog/vlog that caters to “All Things Woman,” HauteLook, can definitely
meet any woman’s desire. **Do keep in mind of the shipping times on merchandise, as it can be quite lengthy on certain items.**
Nyx is a hands down great place to shop for cosmetics. Their
pricing is on point with any budget and they offer quality products with a vast
array of colors to choose from. There is free shipping on orders of $25 or
more. This is one of those sites where you can actually add more products
(sometimes at least 2 if there’s a sale, and it will take the place of the $5+
shipping/handling costs).
Ulta is one of those “one-stop shops.” They offer an array
of products from different cosmetic lines. They also offer various “dupes” to
those who would rather spend money on totally different products rather than
some that are too close to justify paying a higher price for. This is also a
great place to buy an assortment of makeup brushes without paying $20-50+ for
each brush, depending on the maker.
The only reason why Urban Decay is making the list is
because they have sales that can take up to 50% off and they do offer sales
lists. They also have some lipsticks and glosses that come in under the $20
mark.
This is an excellent site to shop on because not only do
they have great, well-known products, but they also have other brands on their
site as well. This is one of the best places to get quality makeup brushes and
other cosmetic tools.
This might be my favorite site to date! Their colors are
amazing and very pigmented. I love the fact that they cater to a wide spectrum
and you can find shades that fit any skin complexion without worry. The prices
simply can’t be beat for such outstanding products.
Milani can be a triple threat because of their lip crèmes,
lipsticks, and prices! Milani has also risen to the well-known ranks quite fast.
They offer very rich, sultry colors that make you want to get them all!
Jordana is just plain hard to overlook. The pricing is great
for professionals and beginners alike. This is one of the best place to stock
up quantity for budding makeup collections. For this to be a celebrity-based
cosmetic, the pricing can’t be beat.
L.A. Girl has the whole line of products as many of the
others, but has really come to stand out in the concealer department. Some of
the high-end brands have reportedly not measured up to this brand.
Subscription Boxes/Services
Now these are certainly not all of the beauty box
subscription services out there, but here is a list of some reasonably priced
subscriptions that can be fitted to either a smaller budget or to anything in
between. Some of the subscriptions are seasonal (the boxes only come out 4
times a year). *When choosing a
subscription service, make sure you check to see if the sizes are “full-sized”
or just regular small samples. This will make all the difference in whether or
not you’re going to be happy getting or keeping the subscription. **If you are
specifically looking for high-end brands, see if there are any
mentions/galleries of past boxes, so you can have an idea for what you might be
getting.
LookFantastic
P.S.
There are a lot of Labor Day sales going on right now and you may save additional money on shipping costs! Also check to see if signing up for their mailing lists will give you instant discounts at checkout!
